Portrait Monument by Adelaide Johnson, a marble sculpture of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucretia Mott.
I’m fairly certain that the genesis of my status as a feminist occurred the moment that I saw this sculpture in the capitol building in Washington, D.C. I was especially inspired by the marble that was left uncarved, in order to allow for another monumental woman to be added in at a later date. To me, it represents women: who we were, who we are, and who we will become.

And I can’t say that I’ve missed their presence on my dashboard thus far. Except, I just unfollowed deadpresidents, which will make my dashboard less politically interesting. But, seriously, it’s not okay.

You might be a feminist if you believe the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire and aftermath should be taught in schools and not relegated to women’s history courses or “months.”

YES. I only just learned about this tragedy last semester in my American Women’s History class, just as the OP suggests.
